I’ve been baking since I was little. Some of my earliest and fondest memories are standing on a yellow fold-out stool in my Grandmother’s kitchen and helping to stir and shape cookie dough. My mom also loved to bake, when she had time, and the holidays were always full of wonderful treats. I grew up watching cooking shows, Julia Child, Martha Stewart, Ina Garten, Top Chef, and pretty much anything on the Food Network. Food helped me to get a glimpse into other people’s cultures and expand my view of the world.
